I, as you seem to, love fairytales, and it's lovely to see such lovely depictions of them. You did a lovely job on the beast (I never seem to be able to make a beast look beast-like, so he always ends up as some sort of slightly mal-formed human with a bad need for a shave....
Your style, technique, everything, is just lovely. I am inspired!
As far as the Beast is concerned, I modeled him off of my cat, then gave him slightly more lion-like features (such as smaller eyes, a sort of mane, comparitively longer snout). The tusks, I dunno, just seemed to fit. So perhaps if you want to something less human, it might help to start from an animal base, rather than a man. But that's just an idea.
